Style Editor
Spider Writer uses TopStyle as its style sheet editing application.
TopStyle is a third-party software package written by Bradbury Software, LLC.
TopStyle must be installed to use the integration features listed below.

TopStyle is an external application
to the Spider Writer environment. See the TopStyle help file for more
information on its usage.
Installing TopStyle
Spider Writer ships with a freeware version of TopStyle named TopStyle Lite.
When installing Spider Writer, you will be prompted to install TopStyle.
If you chose to install it at that point, you should be ready to use the TopStyle integration features.
If TopStyle is not currently installed, you can find a shortcut to the TopStyle setup application
in the Actipro Software folder in the Windows Programs menu.

TopStyle Integration with Spider Writer
Even though TopStyle is an external application to the
Spider Writer environment, there are several ways for TopStyle to interact with Spider Writer.
- Style Editor command on the
Tools menu
- Edit style attributes by selecting a STYLE attribute in the
Attributes sidebar and pressing the ... (ellipses) button.
- Edit style attributes from tag dialogs
- Right-click on tag in
Document Source view
and use the Edit HTML Style Attribute command to edit the attribute
- Right-click on style block in
Document Source view
and use the Edit Style Block command to edit the style block
- Right-click on a LINK tag in
Document Source view
and use the Edit Linked Style Sheet command to edit the linked style sheet
